Gary joined Longton Compensation Lawyers in 2023.
Prior to becoming a solicitor Gary worked as a secondary school teacher of Modern History and Mathematics. It was while working as a teacher that Gary developed an interest in the law and commenced part-time studies through what was then known as the Solicitors Admissions Board (S.A.B). He completed his studies and graduated with a Diploma in Law in 1995 and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1997.
Gary was awarded Specialist Accreditation in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of New South Wales in 2003.
Since his admission as a solicitor Gary’s main focus has been almost exclusively in the area of personal injury/compensation law. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in all types of personal injury and compensation matters including workers compensation, work injury damages, industrial accidents, motor vehicle accidents, civil liability claims, medical negligence and catastrophic injury claims.
Matters undertaken by Gary include:
• Claims for seriously injured persons involving complex quantum issues and multiple parties;
• Slip and fall claims against shopping centres involving multiple parties;
• Catastrophic injury claims including quadriplegia, paraplegia and amputations caused by motor vehicle or workplace accidents;
• Claims involving complex issues and injuries such as brain injuries; and
• Medical Negligence claims.
Gary has achieved several multimillion-dollar settlements and numerous six-figure settlements for his clients.
He goes to great lengths to understand his client’s stories, personal situations, concerns and goals. He is dedicated to providing the utmost in client service and committed to assisting injured persons obtain the proper compensation due to them.
He is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
