Christine Sun

Christine was admitted as a solicitor in 2011, joined Longton Legal in 2014 and is one of our firm’s earliest members. Prior to joining Longton Legal, Christine worked in well-established local firms primarily in the areas of family law litigation and civil litigation. After Christine joined Longton Legal, she has then garnered extensive experience in property law, commercial law, dispute resolution and litigation matters in those areas.

Christine has acquired legal skills covering property acquisitions and sales, leasing, developments, call and put options, mortgages, stamp duty, property related taxation and property related disputes. Her non-legal skills include negotiation skills and team management of property transactional work, dispute resolution and litigation matters.

Christine has also carried out commercial work for private equity clients, including shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements and dispute resolution as well as corporate advisory and compliance.

Christine’s recent clients include commercial tenants, property owners, high net worth individuals, developers, small to medium sized companies and foreign listed companies.

Christine has participated and managed cases heard at different levels of the court system.

Christine is also a Notary Public.

Christine’s qualifications include the following:
• Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales 2011.
• Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales 2011.
• Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales 2011.
• Member of the Law Society of New South Wales since 2011.
• Admitted to the High Court of Australia 2018.
• Appointed as Notary Public 2019.
• Member of the Society of Notaries New South Wales since 2019.
• Nationally Accredited Mediator 2021-2023.

Christine speaks English and Mandarin.
