Failure to Lodge

Failure to Lodge

If you are penalised for failing to lodge, there is a significant administrative penalty set at 75% (of the amount of tax owed) and is automatically applied. However, we can review your particular facts and circumstances and assist to have the penalties remitted. It is also possible for you to be criminally prosecuted if you fail to lodge tax returns (including BAS). This also applies if you are the director of company that fails to lodge. If you are being prosecuted (in court) for failure to lodge, we can defend you to avoid a criminal record.
