Objections to Audit

Objections to Audit

If you have been audited and the ATO has imposed additional tax, penalties and interest on you or your business, and you disagree with that decision, we can challenge the ATO by objecting to that decision. It may be that you dispute the ATO’s interpretation of the facts, application of the law, or their analysis of the available evidence. Each of these factors are open to be challenged by lodging an objection. The ATO do not always get it right and you do not need to simply accept what the ATO asserts. A well planned and executed objection strategy will place you in the best possible position for success. Similar to our approach to an audit, we apply a careful analysis to the facts and circumstances of your matter and prepare a strategy that proves your correct taxation profile.
